Copyright Registration
Protect your original creative work by putting it on record with the U.S. Copyright Office. We prepare and file the application for your written content, artwork, software, or photography.
+ U.S. Copyright Office filing fee, from $45 for a single-author basic online registration, billed separately and paid directly to the Copyright Office.
A different agency, a different process than trademark filing
Copyright registration is handled by the U.S. Copyright Office, not the Federal Govt. It covers original creative works, things like written content, artwork, photography, and software, rather than the brand names and logos that trademark law protects. We start by confirming your work qualifies for registration and identifying the right application category for it.
From there, we prepare your application, including the required deposit copy of the work and the information the Copyright Office needs about authorship and publication status, and submit it on your behalf. Once filed, the Copyright Office reviews the application independently and issues a certificate of registration if it's approved.
