Trademark Renewal Filing
We track your Federal Govt maintenance and renewal deadlines and prepare the declarations your registration needs to stay active, so a missed date doesn't cost you your mark.
+ Federal Govt renewal fees, from $325 per class, billed separately and paid directly to the government.
Registration is only the beginning: keeping it takes upkeep
A federal trademark registration isn't permanent by default. Between years five and six, you're required to file a Section 8 declaration confirming continued use, and every ten years you'll need to file a combined Section 8 and Section 9 renewal. We track those deadlines against your registration date so you're not left guessing when something is due.
When a deadline approaches, we confirm your mark is still in use, help you pull a current specimen of that use, and prepare the declaration for filing. If you've also built up five straight years of continuous use, we can look at whether an optional Section 15 filing makes sense to strengthen your registration's legal standing.

Frequently Asked Questions
A Section 8 declaration is a sworn statement, filed between the fifth and sixth year after registration (and again at each renewal), confirming your mark is still in use in commerce. Missing it can cause the Federal Govt to cancel your registration.
Section 8 confirms continued use and is required to keep a registration alive. Section 15 is optional and can make your mark "incontestable" after five years of continuous use. Section 9 is the actual renewal, filed every ten years alongside a new Section 8.
The Federal Govt allows a limited grace period after a missed deadline, usually with an added late fee. If that window closes without a filing, the registration is cancelled and you would need to apply again as if it were a new mark.
Yes. Once we confirm your mark is still in use and gather the required specimen, we prepare and submit the declaration or renewal directly with the Federal Govt on your behalf.
